Dashboard


Q: What is a dashboard? What is the role of dashboards in business intelligence? How can dashboards help with Big Data? How are dashboards useful in business?

 

 A business insights dashboard is a graphical interface that indications the existing status of dimensions and key performance indicators for an enterprise.

A business intelligence dashboard is a data visualization tool that shows the present position of metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for an organization. Dashboards merge and organize numbers, metrics and sometimes performance scorecards on a screen. They may be personalised for a specific role and show metrics battered for a single point of view. The main features of a BI dashboard product include a customized boundary and the capacity to attract actual data from several sources.

The business knowledge dashboard is often befuddled with the effecting scorecard. The principle distinction among these two is that a business knowledge dashboard is the dashboard of an auto, proves the position at a specific point. A scorecard shows improvement towards particular objectives. Dashboard and scorecard plans are increasingly focalizing.
